Thank You, MITER Foundation: A $7,500 Donation Supporting Disaster Relief and Recovery
I am incredibly grateful and honored to share that the MITER Foundation has generously contributed $7,500.00 to CCVOAD to support the salary of our Disaster Management Coordinator. MITER Brands stands as the largest manufacturer of windows and doors in the country and here in our community, we are known as Milgard Windows and Doors, AKA “Big Red”.
The MITER Foundation has a rich history dedicated to assisting individuals and communities in need. MITER’s efforts span from Local Outreach Initiatives website, to Support For Heroes such as our cherished military and first responders, as well as programs focused on Children’s Wellbeing and Cancer Support. Since its inception in 2020, the CCVOAD organization has partnered with Miter to tirelessly assist local wildfire disaster survivors in achieving safe, sanitary, and secure living conditions. In addition to their generous financial contributions, MITER also provided window packages for the three homes we constructed from the ground up. These donations have made a significant impact on the lives of wildfire survivors, but the support doesn’t end there! The Miter Foundation, alongside The Ford Family Foundation and The Oregon Community Foundation, continues to back our efforts in Disaster Preparedness and First Response. We are actively engaged with the Clackamas County EOC, helping with emergency evacuation sheltering, livestock evacuations, feeding solutions, and much more.
