We are proud to share that Clackamas County VOAD has been selected to join the Regional Resilience Forum as part of the Governor’s Plan for a Resilient Oregon (PRO). This opportunity allows us to bring the voices and needs of Clackamas County directly to the Governor’s Office while helping shape disaster preparedness and recovery efforts at the state level.
As members of the Forum, CCVOAD will:
- Help inform 2027–2029 budget development
- Guide the 2027 legislative agenda
- Create opportunities for shared learning and networking among community and agency leaders
- Engage participants to support plan implementation
- Identify additional resources for plan development and implementation
This work is guided by the objectives of the Plan for a Resilient Oregon, which emphasizes a people-centered approach that helps communities adapt and thrive in the face of disasters. The plan reflects the priorities of groups already recovering and building resilience, while also being informed by and integrated with strategies led by state agencies.
